Experience wine culture and meet winemakers on our wonderful half-day tour.
We will start at 12:00 PM at the historic Musikkabinett. Here, you will be welcomed with a glass of our “Plauderbraue” house sparkling wine. The group gets to know each other a bit; even those who are on their own won't feel alone here. Within the ancient walls of a former knight's castle, we will listen to the sounds of magical instruments. Now we head for the cable car, which will take us up over the vineyards to Niederwald. We will start our wine tasting right next to the Germania figure. Passing the Romantik Tempel, we will hike to the Rebenhaus, a quaint restaurant in the middle of the vineyard, where a hearty snack will be waiting for you. Here, you can enjoy your meal, and three more wines will be served.
After this short break, we will set off across the Niederwald, enjoying the shade, to our magical spots – the Rossel, the Eremitage, the Zauberhöle, Jagt Schloss… and we have little surprises for you at each location. We'll take the chairlift to Assmannshausen, our “Red Wine Village,” where the next highlight awaits you at the Art Café. We won't reveal everything, but let's just say it doesn't get any better than this. We will return to Rüdesheim by boat, where we will say goodbye on Drosselgasse with a shot of schnapps. The duration of this tour is approximately 5 hours.
