Watching animals in their Natural Habitat is so soothing and a relaxing therapy. During Spring to the end of Autumn we can find many animals & birds in Lapland. In this activity we drive around the country side of Lapland to enhance the chance to see Arctic Animals & birds.

These following Arctic Animals we can encounter during this Safari:

• Moose = elk (UK English), elch (German), alche (Italian, Spanish), élan (French)
• Reindeer = ren (German), renna (Italian), reno (Spanish), renne (French)
• Roe deer
• Red Fox
• Arctic Snow Hare
• Wolverine
• Marten
• Lynx or Brown bear if we so lucky

These following Arctic Birds we can encounter during this Safari:
Capercaillie - Auerhuhn (German), gallo cedrone (Italian), urogallo (Spanish), grand tétras (French)

• Golden Eagle

• Pine grosbeak

• Siberian Jay

• Parrot crossbill

• Arctic Magpie

• Arctic Crane

• Whooper Swan (Yellow beak - National Bird of Finland)

• Arctic loon/Arctic Diver

• NOTE:

• During the whole safari you'll be in the Van because European Moose are shy & they can hear our voices from 3.5KM & our whispers from 700m.

• The guide will let you know by special symbol (explained before the tour) when any moose spotted.

• When we spot the Moose it is advised not to say anything it will make the moose run away & we will miss the chance to gaze it properly

• Spotting moose is not guaranteed we give our best rest is Nature!
