Begin with a 25-minute drive from Rovaniemi to the base of the Sukulanrakka hill. Take a short walk through a pine forest to reach 14 prehistoric giant’s kettles, including the massive “Devil’s Soup Bowl, ” which plunges 15 meters into the bedrock.
Admire these incredibly photogenic formations. Most visitors find their smartphone cameras perfect for capturing the deep, smooth-walled cylinders and the panoramic forest views from the top of the cliff.
Navigate the site via a series of wooden stairs and forest paths, allowing you to see the largest holes from both above and below.
