Begin with a 25-minute drive from Rovaniemi to the base of the Sukulanrakka hill. Take a short walk through a pine forest to reach 14 prehistoric giant’s kettles, including the massive “Devil’s Soup Bowl,” which plunges 15 meters into the bedrock.
Admire these incredibly photogenic formations. Most visitors find their smartphone cameras perfect for capturing the deep, smooth-walled cylinders and the panoramic forest views from the top of the cliff.
Navigate the site via a series of wooden stairs and forest paths, allowing you to see the largest holes from both above and below.
