This is the trip most people never knew was possible. Departing from Hayle Harbour, Coast Boat Trips takes you on a 2.5-hour journey around the full Cornish cape — passing through some of the UK’s most dramatic, history-steeped and wildlife-rich waters, finishing in Penzance.
We are the only boat tour operator in Cornwall that does this route.
Along the way, your expert guide brings the coastline to life — towering cliffs, hidden caves, treacherous headlands with centuries of shipwreck history, and heritage landmarks including Botallack Mines, Cape Cornwall, Longships Lighthouse, Land’s End and the Minack Theatre.
At Cape Cornwall, something remarkable happens. The Atlantic Ocean, the Celtic Sea and the English Channel collide — three great bodies of water churning up nutrients from the deep, creating one of the UK’s most biodiverse marine environments. Seal haul-out areas, dolphin corridors, whale and porpoise hot spots, tidal features that attract tuna, incredible bird colonies. On a good day, you can see all of the above.
You don’t just see this coastline. You experience it in all its raw, wild beauty.
