Activity itinerary

Circus Maximus

The most ancient chariot race track

Colosseum

  • 20m
  • Admission ticket not included
Perhaps the most iconic symbol of Rome, the Colosseum is an ancient amphitheater that could hold up to 80,000 spectators. It was used for gladiatorial contests, public spectacles, and dramas based on Classical mythology. The Colosseum is a masterpiece of Roman engineering and architecture, and it's one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

Trastevere

  • 10m
Trastevere is a charming and vibrant district on the west bank of the Tiber, known for its narrow cobblestone streets, medieval houses, and lively nightlife. It has a distinctive character, with a mix of local residents, students, and tourists. The area is also home to beautiful churches like Santa Maria in Trastevere and offers a more authentic slice of Roman life.

Fontana dell'Acqua Paola

  • 20m
Also known as Il Fontanone, the Fontana dell'Acqua Paola is a grandiose fountain located on the Janiculum Hill. Built in the early 17th century, it marks the end point of the Acqua Paola aqueduct, restored to supply water to the Trastevere district. The fountain's design and location offer spectacular views and are a testament to the importance of water in Rome's history.

Gianicolo Belvedere

  • 10m
The Janiculan Hill, is a hill in western Rome, Italy. Although it is the second-tallest hill in the contemporary city of Rome, the Janiculum does not figure among the proverbial Seven Hills of Rome, being west of the Tiber and outside the boundaries of the ancient city.
