The activity begins with a brief check-in and an introduction by our expert team, followed by a theoretical training session covering all safety guidelines and jump procedures. Our experienced instructors will explain, step by step, what the jump will be like and how to position yourself during the free fall and landing, ensuring complete safety and peace of mind. Next, participants put on their gear (overalls, goggles, harness) and board an aircraft specially prepared for skydiving. During the ascent, which takes about 25 minutes, you can enjoy an incredible panoramic view of the “Wonderful City,” including its beautiful and famous beaches and Christ the Redeemer, before the skydiving jump—truly a spectacular experience!
At an altitude of approximately 8,000 feet, it's time to feel the adrenaline rush: the free-fall jump lasts about 40 seconds, at speeds of up to 120 mph (200 km/h), delivering a unique feeling of freedom. Then the parachute is deployed, and the remainder of the flight, lasting about 5 minutes, is a relaxed experience that allows you to enjoy the scenery at your leisure until the soft landing, with your instructor by your side at all times. At the end, you will be able to watch the video and see the photos of your jump, with the option to purchase the footage as a keepsake (360° camera option). The package includes digital photos and a video of your experience that captures every sensational moment up to the smooth landing on the sandy beach of Barra da Tijuca. The full experience takes about 3 hours. Family and friend spectators are welcome to watch your jump from below, on the beach, or to wait in comfort at our base, where coffee, water, internet, and free parking are available.
