Our excursion begins in the village of Archangelos and continues through olive groves through vegetation growing denser and denser, with a great variety of plants. The whole “Epta Piges” area, with its abundance of springs, forms a refreshing little oasis. The path winds along beside the stream, past an old dam to the famous Seven Springs. The ducks and peacocks are happy to pose for photographs! Experience the excitement of crossing through a narrow tunnel with cool water at your feet. After a brief stop for refreshments, we continue on our way through the woods on an adventurous path, leaving the springs behind to enter the olive groves. The luxuriant vegetation gradually thins out to make way for the bare landscape of Archangelos.
