The Three Volcanoes Adventure (Triplets) Being in the Galapagos archipelago on Isabela Island, high in the volcanic highlands, you will have the opportunity to rappel 500 feet into the crater of an ancient volcano, reach the bottom, walk around the chambers and witness the long evolution of geology in its natural state, see intact quartz crystals, petrified lichens and more natural wonders than those formed by this dormant volcano in its last eruption (600,000 years ago). ..... Then, come back up to the surface, walk around the rim of the triplets (three volcanoes together) and observe from a safe place the abysmal tunnels inside each volcano, while enjoying the majestic coastline and ocean view of the Galapagos.
