Captain Funky, Eduardo (Edward) and David were excellent hosts on our morning Happy Fish excursion. We chose this so to see the fish and see the beautiful coast line and incredible water. We had a truly amazing time. Feeding the fish when snorkelling was magical as there were so many! On the way back we saw a turtle and a Stingray. We had fun on the slide, the diving board, and attempted paddle boarding. The snacks and Happy Fish cocktail were delicious. Thoroughly recommend Happy Fish Catamarans and the team as they provided us with wonderful memories.

Loved the experience! The snorkeling was great and our guide David showed us so many different sea creatures (conch shell, sea cucumbers, urchin and of course the fish) which made it even more fun! The drinks and snacks were really good and the staff made sure to make everyone feel safe and comfortable. On our way back we even saw some ray fish and turtles! Definitely recommend :)

We are a couple from Hong Kong and we are glad to join this tour. There were 17 people in our group and we had a lot of fun together. The tour guide, all the staff and the driver were very nice. The boat was very clean, the snorkeling equipment was also clean and new, and there were fins. Because it is a small group, the space is very good. We saw that the other boats were very crowded. I prefer this small group. All the staff were very helpful. The atmosphere is very good. Play, dance and drink together. Highly recommended

An absolutely amazing excursion with Happy Fish. We were a party of 2 who booked the morning excursion. We were greeted at our hotel by a driver who took us to the meeting spot. The drive was safe. The meeting spot is a beach that is lined with a few souvenir shops (for after the excursion). We were greeted there by a Happy Fish representative who walked us down the beach to our boat. We were extremely fortunate because we 2 were paired with a small family of 4, and that was the entire guest list for our excursion! It felt like a private tour! Right when we got on the boat, after introductions, we were given shots of Mama Juana to kick things off, and then we set sail at a putting speed to our snorkeling stop. The ride itself was slow compared to other snorkeling excursions I’ve been on in different countries, but I think it was better because we hugged the coastline and saw some amazing views. The crew even stopped and circled a few times so we could see some turtles! Our 4 crew members were Davi, Michelle, Kevin Hart, and Frankie. All did a wonderful job! Davi led the tour and made excellent conversation, not to mention his guacamole and margaritas were fantastic! Frankie was playing songs over the speakers to provide a fun atmosphere; he knows his country music! Kevin Hart did an excellent job steering us to each spot! And Michelle made wonderful drinks and was attentive to guest requests! The first stop was snorkeling, and we were there for about 45 minutes to 1 hour. The snorkeling itself was good. You won’t see the diversity of fish that you might see in a place like Hawaii, but there were a lot of fish, reefs, and even a sting ray! Frankie was feeding the fish in the water, which was great because the fish would swim right next to us! It wasn’t uncommon to be brushed by one or two! At this stop we also could swim in the water, jump off the second deck of the boat, and go down the slide. We were treated with drinks and chips with guacamole as well. We did not feel rushed here. We had an impromptu second stop when the crew decided to take us directly to the coastal beaches we were passing to allow us to walk on the sand and enjoy the relatively uncrowded beach! This was a 20 minute stop. I thought this stop was a nice touch because it wasn’t in the itinerary but something that everyone enjoyed! Again, we didn’t feel rushed. The final stop was at the sand bar, which like many reviews have said is a big shallow area off the coast where multiple boats are anchored and playing music. Davi and Michelle brought out the paddle boards and floating bar. I’d say we were there for about 45 minutes, but we didn’t feel rushed at all! Davi took some great photos us, and he was very attentive to making sure our glasses were full! At this stop, we were also treated to some fresh fruit. Finally we putted back to the initial meeting point where we said by to the crew, and had a safe drive back to the hotel. We did stop at the souvenir shops, but we didn’t find any of the merchants too aggressive. Two extra things I noted that I particularly appreciated: - the crew was extremely respectful of each guest’s curated experience. My girlfriend and me wanted to have a few drinks and enjoy the sun, with the added benefit of snorkeling. The family of 4 on our boat were more interested in the snorkeling, not so much the drinks and party vibe. Davi and the crew curated to both types of experiences, which I thought was great. They read the crowd well. - there was no professional photographer, so you weren’t pressured to buy photos. There was also no pressure to leave tips. But the crew did such a great job that the tip was well deserved! Overall, I highly recommend this excursion. I was leaning towards not doing an excursion in Punta Cana until my coworker recommended this excursion to me. If you’re on the fence, do it. It’s worth the money, and I’ll do this excursion every time I visit Punta Cana moving forward. Amazing job to the crew and to Happy Fish! This was my favorite part of Punta Cana. Thank you for the memories!

Happy Fish Catamaran was a great tour host. First, the crew was knowledgeable and ensure we were safe while snorkeling. The trip then turned into more of a daytime booze cruise. We had a blast at the “natural swimming pool,” enjoyed drinks out in the water and they even spotted some sea turtles for us. We traveled on the 4/27 9a tour. Thank you!

We can an INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE! Highly recommend! Our guides (Daniel and Aqua Man) were wonderful- We were taken to a great spot to snorkel, the guides provided "fish food" so we had so many beautiful fish to see. The bartender Anna was so friendly and attentive- The boat was beautiful and clean. I was nervous at first as were traveling with our kids (17 and 11) and I didn't want a party boat- This trip was family friendly and relaxing and fun! Our whole family enjoyed the slide and diving board from the boat (so fun!) Then we were taken to an area to float around (shallow water) with a paddle board and a floating bar. I really can't recommend this trip/company higher- Book it! You won't regret it!!!
