Sunbathe on the sandy beaches of Playa Rincon on a day trip. Take a guided walking tour of Samana, enjoy a comfortable ride in modern buses, and ride through the mangroves in a traditional canoe on the Caño Frio.
Board your bus outside the hotel in Punta Cana and surrounding areas and head to the Pier of Las Cañitas in Miches. Climb on board a boat and sail to the Province of Santa Barbara de Samana.

Once in Samana, explore the city on a guided tour. As you stroll, learn about its culture and see the main churches and government offices.
Next, head to Playa Rincon, about 35 minutes away. Explore this 3-mile-long white sand beach on your own, or relax in the sun before continuing to Caño Frio. Hop into a traditional canoe and ride along the river through the mangroves.

Enjoy a delicious lunch with your choice of chicken or fish with coconut rice, tostones, salads, coconut bread, and fruit. Wash your meal down with a cola, water, or rum before continuing your adventure.
Drive to the Cañita Pier and board a boat to sail to Cayo Levantado Island. Relax on the beach beneath some coconut palms or go for a refreshing swim. After enjoying the island, take the boat back to the Cañita Pier and board your bus back to your hotel.
