Explore Lake Titicaca in an active and authentic way: according to the schedule established the day before, we begin the sightseeing tour with pick-up and transport from your hotel to the starting point. Before the activity, your guide will give you a complete briefing on safety, basic paddling techniques, and how to use the gear before entering the water.
We start kayaking through the Titicaca National Reserve, navigating among the totora reeds, a unique landscape inhabited by a great diversity of birds such as ducks, grebes, and other species.

Upon arrival at the Uros floating islands, a family will welcome you with their traditional greeting (kamisaraki). In a cultural exchange, the head of the family will share with you how they build the islands, their lifestyle, and the use of totora in their daily lives. You'll have time to take photos and go on a totora raft ride. Then you return to Puno with transport back to your hotel. One day before, we will contact you to confirm the itinerary and details.
