Immerse yourself in the heart of Puglia's tradition with an exclusive workshop dedicated to the Luminarie, the iconic light sculptures that make the patron saint festivities magical. The experience takes place in Ceglie Messapica, the gastronomic and cultural pearl of the Itria Valley, in a real artisan workshop.
Under the guidance of an expert craftsman, the 'Maestro Paratore', you will embark on a journey that combines design, woodworking, and electricity. Discover the origins of this art, now a UNESCO World Heritage candidate, and how the complex geometric designs are created.
Familiarize yourself with the wooden structure, learn how to assemble the lamp holders, and create a safe electrical circuit.
Choose the colored bulbs you prefer to customize your creation.
At the end of the workshop, you will have created a working mini-luminaria, ready to illuminate your home and remind you of the colors of Puglia. The activity is perfect for couples, families, and anyone who wants to enjoy a 'slow' and creative experience away from the usual tours
