After a quick 15-minute bus ride, we’ll enjoy a scenic walk through a charming small town surrounded by lush tropical scenery, including jackfruit, guava, oil palm trees… as well as a gentle stream. For those seeking extra adventure, an optional jungle zip-line is available with at least one day’s advance notice to coordinate the meeting point; featuring nine thrilling lines through the jungle, ranging from 20 to an impressive 480 meters.
Later, we’ll visit a local distillery to learn the basics of tequila production, followed by an artisanal tequila tasting. We’ll then continue our hike toward the coast, stopping at several small beaches along the way before reaching a beachfront hillside palapa restaurant with stunning ocean views—perfect for lunch or a restroom break.
Afterward, we’ll head to one of Puerto Vallarta’s most beautiful southern beaches, known for its calm, crystal-clear waters that resemble a natural pool—ideal for swimming and snorkeling. Optional activities include massages, paddleboarding, and jet ski rentals.
Good to know: This tour involves about 3 km of moderate walking over some rocky sections, so tennis shoes are highly recommended (in addition to sandals or water shoes). Part of the adventure includes walking along a stream, so be prepared to get wet! This is a gay-friendly, adult-oriented experience and is not suitable for travelers with limited mobility. Guests who wish to stay longer at the beach are welcome to do so—cell service is reliable, and returning independently is easy by taxi, Uber, or public transportation.
