Embark on an unforgettable approximately 4-hour adventure to discover some of Puerto Vallarta’s most secluded and beautiful beaches, combining tropical jungle hiking, swimming, and spectacular views of the Pacific coastline.
Your experience begins with an authentic local touch as you board a public bus and travel along the coast through lush tropical scenery to Boca de Tomatlán, a picturesque fishing village south of Puerto Vallarta.
From there, begin your guided hike along tropical trails overlooking the ocean. Throughout the journey, we will visit several beautiful beaches and make stops so you have time to rest, swim, and enjoy the water at each beach, whenever sea conditions are safe.
Highlights of your journey:
Playa Colomitos:
Discover one of Puerto Vallarta’s smallest and most charming beaches. Take time to swim in its turquoise waters, relax, and capture incredible photos.
When sea, weather, and visibility conditions are suitable, you may also have the option to enjoy a brief snorkeling session. Snorkeling is an optional, complementary activity and is not an essential part of this hiking tour. For safety reasons, your guide may skip snorkeling if conditions are not suitable. In this case, the tour will continue as planned, and no refund will be provided specifically for the snorkeling activity.
Playa Madagascar:
Discover a hidden gem surrounded by nature and known for its impressive rock formation. We will stop here so you can enjoy the beach, take photos, and cool off in the ocean whenever conditions are suitable.
Playa Maraikas:
Take another break to relax and enjoy the beach. You will have time for a swim and can also purchase fresh coconut, seasonal fruit, or a refreshing drink.
Platanitos, Tortugas, and Caballo:
Continue hiking through beautiful coastal spots surrounded by tropical vegetation and the many shades of blue of the Pacific Ocean. Depending on the group’s pace and sea conditions, we will make stops to enjoy the water and scenery.
Playa Las Ánimas:
Our final stop is this tropical paradise, where you will have time to swim, relax by the ocean, and enjoy the beach. You can also purchase a refreshing drink or try fresh local seafood such as traditional ceviche or the famous “aguachile negro.”
Finally, board a scenic water taxi for a relaxing boat ride back to Boca de Tomatlán. ✨
The duration may vary slightly depending on the group’s pace, the amount of time spent at each beach, and sea conditions.
Important: This is primarily a coastal hiking experience with stops to swim and enjoy the beaches. The amount of time spent at each beach may vary depending on the group’s pace and natural conditions.
