06:30 to 07:00 hrs: Pick up at your accommodation in Puerto Natales to begin the excursion to Torres del Paine National Park.
Upon entering the park, we will start our hike along the Aonikenk Trail, which begins at the Sarmiento Lake entrance. This approximately 2-hour hike trough the Patagonian steppe offers sweeping views of the Paine Massif and vibrant blue glacial lakes.
This trail is ideal for spotting local wildlife such as guanacos and native birds. After about an hour of walking, we will visit an archaeological site with featuring cave paintings over 10,000 years old, created by the region's earliest inhabitants.
Next, we will head to the Pudeto area, where we'll stop to admire the impressive Salto Grande waterfall. From there, we will begin a round-rip hike of approximately 2 hours to the Cuernos viewpoint, one of the park's most iconic landscapes.
Afterwards, we will return to our campsite for lunch and a short rest, enjoying stunning views of the Paine Massif.
In the afternoon, we will hike to the Condor Lookout, a moderately steep ascent of about 2 hours (round trip) reaching an altitude of 350 meters above the sea level. From the top, you'll enjoy panoramic viewa of Paine Grande, the French Valley, the Cuernos del Paine and Pehoé Lake. Along the way, it's common to see the park's distinctive flora and fauna.
Around 19:00 hrs: Return to Puerto Natales.
