After lunch, we'll begin our exploration. We will hike through the forest to admire giant trees up to 30 meters high and explore the flora and fauna. That night, we'll go on a night hike to observe a wide variety of animals, from tarantulas and snakes to insects.

DAY 2

Casa Rural – Collpa Chuncho – Paradise Lodge
At 4:30 a.m., we'll depart by boat to explore the Tambopata River. The trip will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. During this time, we'll be able to observe wildlife such as jaguars, tapirs, and capybaras. From there, we will arrive at the Chuncho salt lick, the largest salt lick in the world. At this collpa, we will observe three species of colorful macaws and three species of parrots. After observing and photographing the wildlife at the salt lick, we'll return to the lodge by boat. There, we'll have time to pack and have lunch. After lunch, we will drive to Puerto Maldonado. From there, we'll cruise down the Madre de Dios River for about 30 minutes until we reach our second lodge: Paradise Lodge. After dropping off our belongings, we'll explore another type of forest where we can observe animals and birds, and then we'll walk across the suspension bridges to appreciate another type of vegetation from above. In the afternoon, we'll do our last activity. Travelers will have the opportunity to cruise the Madre de Dios River looking for alligators.
