Begin your adventure with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Protaras or a short drive to the dive shop. Upon arrival, enjoy a welcome drink and get fitted with your diving gear. Your instructor will explain the basic principles of scuba diving and give an overview of the equipment you’ll be using.

Next, head to the shallow waters of a local bay, where you’ll learn a few basic skills. Once you’re comfortable, start your dive with your instructor and explore the local area.

Dive to a maximum depth of 2 meters if you’re between 8 and 10 years old, or up to 10 meters if you’re older. Keep an eye out for statues, seahorses, cornet fish, and, if you’re lucky, a turtle.

After your dive, return to the dive shop, where you’ll receive some photos and videos of your experience.
