You will be driven from your hotel to the vineyard where we will began our journey to wine discovery with Ce Qui Nous Lie (What brings us together) will begin.
Emilie, sommelier (who lived in South Africa, England & Ireland) & Leika, her dog mascot (and the real star of the show) offer an astonishing olfactory stroll through the people, flavours and scenery that make up Corsica's wine growing world today. There are about ten vineyards around Calvi, and Émilie will select one or two to showcase the diversity and richness of Corsican wines. The chosen vineyard(s) will be confirmed at the time of booking.
Her trip is designed to showcase Corsica through its wine with visits to vineyards and their stories, culminating in a tasting of their wines.
You will have a cellar tour, a full wine tasting and a nice and peaceful walk in the vineyard through the vines.
At the end, you will be served fresh seasonal & delicious picnic with sparkling and still water.
The whole experience lasts around 3 hours
You will be, of course, able to purchase wines but no obligation .
In case of rain, the picnic will be held indoors in the cellar or tasting room.
