Activity itinerary

Monumento a Rodrigo de Triana
  • 5m
Rodrigo de Triana was the first person to see the New World from the Caravel Pinta on October 12, 1492, that is why we see below his statue the cry of Earth!
Iglesia de Santa Ana
  • 10m
It was the first church to be built outside the city of Seville after its Reconquest. Inside we find an image of the Virgen de la Victoria, to which Magellan prayed before making his trip to the islands of spices.
Río Guadalquivir
  • 10m
When we celebrate the Santa Ana Fair in Triana, a cucaña is placed on this river, which is a slippery pole on a boat and at the end of it you have to try to get to collect a prize without falling into the water.
Capilla Virgen del Carmen
  • 10m
It is a small chapel that, due to its shape, is known as the "lighter" among the Sevillians. It houses an image of the Virgen del Carmen, who was the patron saint of sailors.
Ceramica Triana
  • 10m
It occupies the place where the old Santa Ana Factory was located, a factory that was created in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It is the quintessential ceramic factory in Triana and stands out for the exterior tiles with which it is decorated.
Mercado de Triana
  • 15m
It is a very unconventional market, which stands out because we can find exotic fruits and products that are not usually found in other markets. As a curiosity, it has the smallest theater in Seville inside, with a total of 28 locations.
Museo Del Castillo De San Jorge
  • 15m
This Castle was used as the seat of the Court of the Inquisition, since Seville was the city in the Crown of Castile with the largest number of people who had converted to Christianity. This castle was used by Beethoven as the setting for his opera Fidelio (the only one he wrote), which tells the story of Floristan, a man who lives locked in his cell for his political ideas.
