The Sanctuary of Fatima is the place where there was a series of appearances of the Virgin Mary in 1917, to the three shepherds Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta. From this, a chapel was built in honor of Our Lady of Fatima, and, over the years, the space has become a complex of churches, squares, monuments and museums, which tell the history of apparitions and development of the worship of the virgin.
The environment is especially sacred, with an atmosphere of devotion and faith that feels in every piece of the sanctuary.

The meeting point is at Gate 11, near a roundabout (next to the Shrine's Park 11, which is free) and has a statue of Pope Pius and the Basilica of the Holy Trinity at the back.
