The Ancient Theatre of Taormina is one of the most spectacular and best preserved monuments in Sicily. Made of local stone, the theatre could accommodate up to 5,000 spectators and was used for theatre, musical and gladiatorial combat. It is an iconic symbol of Taormina and an unmissable stop for those visiting Sicily. Visitors can choose whether to include this stage with additional cost of the entrance fee charged to them.
