The Southwest of Antioquia is one of Colombia's major coffee-growing regions with approx. 100,000 ha of coffee plantations. This unique coffee region starts just outside of the city of Medellín in the lush green Andean highlands. Explore a traditional small-scale farm run in the fourth generation by the same family. On less than three hectares a local farmer and his family produce their own coffee brand and give us the unique opportunity to observe the whole coffee processing from the plant to the cup. They grow several varieties of coffee beans such as Castillo, Caturra, and Pajarito.

Stroll through the coffee fields learning more about growing and collecting the coffee beans.
