In addition to getting to know the beautiful town of Tequila, you will also visit the Tequila Selecto Distillery and enjoy the Extreme Swing with the best views of the agave fields. A unique experience that you cannot miss if you are a true lover of tequila and its culture!

NOTICE: From December 5 to January 7, 2023, various maintenance projects will be taking place at the distillery. Due to security regulations, we will not be able to visit all areas, however, we will visit as many as possible. On the 31st we have no tours available.

Enjoy the "Live Grandpa Tour" The guided tour of the La Fortaleza distillery includes a tour of the entire tequila production process, from the agave harvest to bottling. Visitors will see the brick ovens where the agave is cooked, the mills where the piñas are crushed, and the fermentation vats where the juice is turned into must. Then, the copper stills in which the juice is distilled into tequila will be shown and the different stages of distillation will be explained. The visit ends in the bottling area, where you will be shown how tequila is labeled and bottled. Visitors will also be able to try some varieties of tequila and buy bottles as souvenirs. The experience is ideal for learning about the history and tradition of Mexican tequila in a warm and welcoming environment.
