What you can expect

We invite you to discover two of the most beautiful attractions near Bucharest, connected by one of Romania’s most spectacular mountain roads – TransBucegi. This panoramic route offers breathtaking views and an unforgettable journey through the Bucegi Mountains.

Ialomita Cave

Located at an altitude of approximately 1,660 meters in the Bucegi Mountains, Ialomita Cave is one of Romania’s most famous caves. It has a total length of over 1,100 meters, part of which is arranged for visitors. Inside, you will admire impressive stalactites and stalagmites, natural galleries, and chambers with unique formations.
At the entrance of the cave lies the Ialomita Cave Monastery, a small Orthodox church dating back to the 16th century, rebuilt several times over the years. Partially carved into the rock, the monastery offers a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere where nature and faith come together.

Peles Castle

Built between 1873 and 1914, Peles Castle served as the summer residence of King Carol I of Romania. Located in the mountain resort of Sinaia, at the foot of the Bucegi Mountains, the castle features over 160 richly decorated rooms and houses valuable collections of art, weapons, armor, and period furniture. Considered one of the most beautiful castles in Europe, Peles Castle is a true symbol of Romanian royalty and architectural elegance.

This tour offers the perfect blend of nature, spirituality, and history, making it an ideal choice for travelers looking to explore iconic landmarks and stunning mountain landscapes in one day.

Please note: Peles Castle is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. On these days, the visit will include the castle gardens and exterior, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and learn about the castle’s history from the outside.
