LOCAL EXPERTISE: I'll share NYC history, culture, and hidden gems. You'll have a unique experience.
CONVENIENT PICK-UP: in Manhattan, Brooklyn, or Queens. Other boroughs upon request (may have fees).
PRIVATE GUIDING SERVICE: You'll have just me, Denis, as tour leader. I'll share insights, tips.
CUSTOMIZED ITINERARY: We'll plan your route together. Based on your interests and chosen borough(s).
TRANSPORTATION COSTS between sites are not included. I can advise during planning. For example, a standard New York City subway ride costs $2.90 using OMNY contactless payment.
GRATUITIES are not included. They are appreciated if you enjoyed the tour.
DRIVING SERVICE is not included: this is a ”walking tour", we could use public transit or taxi, but only if you desire it. For example, a taxi ride from Times Square to Harlem could cost $30.
ADMISSION FEES to attractions that require a separate, specific ticket for entry are not included. For example, the Empire State Building.

We will discuss and finalize the itinerary together before your tour - This CUSTOM WALKING TOUR offers the flexibility to explore one or more of New York City's 5 boroughs, based on your interests and available time. While exploring all five in a single day is generally not recommended to ensure a more in-depth experience, you can select the boroughs that appeal to you most. Potential destinations include MANHATTAN's Times Square, Central Park, the High Line, Greenwich Village and Harlem; BROOKLYN's Brooklyn Bridge Park, DUMBO, Williamsburg and Coney Island; QUEENS' Long Island City waterfront, Flushing Meadows Corona Park and Jackson Heights; The BRONX's Yankee Stadium, The Bronx Zoo and New York Botanical Garden; and STATEN ISLAND's Staten Island Ferry and Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden.

Dumbo

Travelers will explore this trendy waterfront neighborhood known for its cobblestone streets, converted warehouses, and stunning views of the Manhattan Bridge and skyline. They can stroll along the waterfront, take iconic photos under the Manhattan Bridge arch, browse art galleries and boutiques, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.

Brooklyn Bridge

Travelers will walk across this iconic landmark, experiencing breathtaking panoramic views of Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the Statue of Liberty. They'll learn about the bridge's history, engineering, and cultural significance.

St. Paul's Chapel

Travelers will visit this historic church, which served as a place of refuge for rescue workers after the 9/11 attacks. They'll see poignant memorials and learn about the chapel's role in the city's history.

Woolworth Building

Travelers will admire the exterior of this stunning neo-Gothic skyscraper, once the tallest building in the world. They'll learn about its history and architectural details. (Note: Public access to the interior is limited, so the focus is on the exterior.)

Chinatown

Travelers will experience the vibrant atmosphere of Chinatown and learn about its cultural significance. They will walk down Doyers Street, a short and curved Street, learning about its history as a site of gang violence in the early 20th century.

Little Italy

Travelers will stroll down Mulberry Street, the heart of Little Italy, experiencing the neighborhood's Italian heritage through its restaurants, cafes, and shops. They'll learn about the history of Italian immigration to New York.

Haughwout Building

Travelers will admire the exterior of this historic cast-iron building, a landmark of SoHo's architectural heritage. They'll learn about its innovative design and its role in the development of the neighborhood.

SoHo

Travelers will explore this trendy neighborhood known for its cast-iron architecture, art galleries, and upscale boutiques. They can admire the unique buildings (like the "King of Greene Street", browse the shops, and soak up the stylish atmosphere.

Greenwich Village

Travelers will wander through the charming streets of Greenwich Village, known for its bohemian history, artistic spirit, and independent shops and cafes. They'll experience the neighborhood's unique atmosphere and learn about its cultural significance. They can optionally stop for a coffee at Caffè Reggio, a historic landmark of Greenwich Village and a favorite haunt of artists and writers. They'll experience the café's old-world charm and soak up the atmosphere.

Washington Square Park

Travelers will visit this iconic park, a central gathering place in Greenwich Village. They'll see the Washington Square Arch, watch street performers, and experience the park's vibrant energy.

Travelers will visit this magnificent transportation hub, admiring its Beaux-Arts architecture and celestial ceiling. They'll learn about its history and its importance as a transportation hub.

Rockefeller Center

Travelers will explore this iconic complex, home to numerous shops, restaurants, and attractions, including Top of the Rock Observation Deck (ticket purchase not included in this private walking tour) and the famous ice-skating rink (in season).
