Our friendly guide picks you up at your hotel. After a greeting and telling you how to be safe on the motorbike, we start weaving the main streets and lots of back alleys in far districts. The first stop is Thich Quang Duc monument where you learn about the monk who burned himself until death for protesting the persecution of Buddhists by the South Vietnamese government. The statue of Thich Quang Duc in fire and the large relief are worth seeing.
