  • This Gros Piton Hike is one of the most popular hiking tours on the beautiful island St Lucia that visitors always look forward to. The twin Pitons are unique to St Lucia and are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Most people prefer climbing Gros Piton because it is easier, with maintained hiking trails, no ropes needed and is less risky than the Petit Piton. Your guide will make sure that you are given the necessary time to climb at your pace. The hiking is on average two hours up and two hours of a hike down - a total of four hours.

Along the way you have 4 rest stops with lovely views which are the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarter. 3rd quarter is called the point of no return which means you have almost made it to the top and the 4th quarter is where you get a 360 view of the whole island.
