Overview

Hi. I’m Jayce, your guide — and a former South Korean soldier who served 19 months at a General Outpost in the Eastern DMZ. Every day, I looked across the border at North Korea, feeling the tension, fear, and hope that define this place.

On this tour, I’ll share real stories from my service — the living conditions, unexpected emergencies, and daily moments that shaped my understanding of the divided peninsula. Together, we’ll explore the tragic history of separation, reflect on the harsh reality of war, and discuss my personal thoughts on the future of both Koreas.

There’s so much to tell that sometimes the tour runs a little longer — I hope you won’t mind!

10% of proceeds are donated to support soldiers currently serving along the DMZ.

Please note that DMZ access may be restricted at any time for safety or operational reasons. If so, the tour may be replaced with the DMZ Gondola and an observatory overlooking North Korea. Thank you for your understanding.
