On this tour, you will see how people in Dharavi live, work, raise their families, play, and relax. Learn about local businesses such as plastic recycling, leather production, and garment and textile manufacturing, which together generate about 1 billion US dollars in annual income.

Visit a Dharavi location where Slumdog Millionaire was filmed and discover more surprises along the way. Go beyond the film's depictions and learn what life here is really like.

This tour actively challenges stereotypes about slums. Dharavi and the surrounding area are safe to visit, and a local resident will guide you throughout the tour.
