Your guided walking tour will take a relaxed and unhurried pace as you promenade along the magnificent Liverpool Waterfront, flanked on all sides by striking architecture and some of the city’s most iconic buildings.

Royal Liver Building

Donned by the city’s two famous Liver Birds—and the age‑old question remains: which is Bella, and which is Bertie?—you will pause before the magnificent, Grade I‑listed Royal Liver Building, one of Liverpool’s most iconic and architecturally celebrated landmarks.

The Three Graces

Completing this world‑famous waterfront, the Cunard Building and the Port of Liverpool Building stand proudly alongside their neighbour, forming a magnificent architectural backdrop that frames the city with elegance and historic grandeur.

Canning Dock

Stroll passed Canning Dock, recently transformed through a significant renovation that powerfully unites its 18th‑century maritime heritage with the striking contemporary architecture that now defines its surroundings.

Your tour will visit Liverpool’s most renowned and historically significant dock: the Royal Albert Dock. Thomas Steers Way

Located on the site of Liverpool's first dry dock here you will learn of the maritime history of Liverpool that is captured in the large water fountain, and you will be able to have a quick look down to through a port hole. Thomas Steers Way is also home to the oversized LIVERPOOL selfie sign for which the colours change to reflect the season or events throughout the year.

Liverpool Cruise Port

As your afternoon tea draws to a close, you may choose to return with your guide for the short walk back to the cruise terminal, or conclude your excursion here and enjoy some free time to explore the city independently—your guide will be happy to point you in the right direction—before making your own way back to the ship.

Albion House, also known as the White Star Building or 30 James Street, stands proudly at the corner of James Street and The Strand, facing the world-famous Pier Head. Built between 1896 and 1898, its bold red-brick and white Portland stone façade earned it the affectionate local nickname the “streaky bacon” building.
