After breakfast, set off with your local H’mong guide for a private trek through the valleys of La Pan Tan and Mu Cang Chai, home to some of Vietnam’s most spectacular rice terraces. Stop at famous viewpoints such as Đồi Mâm Xôi (Raspberry Hill) and La Pan Tan viewpoint — iconic spots for panoramic views and photos. The trek also takes you through H’mong villages, where daily life unfolds — farmers in the rice fields, children playing, and women weaving at home. Depending on the season, you may even join local activities like planting or harvesting rice by hand. Your English-speaking guide will share stories about H’mong culture, food, and seasonal traditions, giving you deeper insight into life in the highlands. In the late afternoon, return to your homestay to enjoy the sunset or join your host family in daily activities like feeding animals or cooking dinner. Start your day with a local breakfast at 7:30 AM before setting off on a half-day motorbike trip with your local driver. The ride takes you to some of Mu Cang Chai’s most scenic viewpoints, including the “Dinosaur Backbone” mountain ridge, the bamboo forest, the Horseshoe-shaped rice fields (Móng Ngựa), and the local market. Around 12:00 PM, return to your homestay and enjoy another warm, homecooked lunch before your private car picks you up for the journey back to Hanoi or your next destination such as Sapa, Ha Giang, or Mai Chau.
