What you can expect

Discover Porto Torres with a guided walk of about 3 hours that crosses history, archeology and breathtaking views of the Gulf of Asinara. A walking itinerary that combines the charm of the sea with the richness of the cultural heritage, along a path that develops between the historic center and sites of great historical and religious value.
It starts from the suggestive Aragonese Tower and then continues along the waterfront, crossing a panoramic pedestrian area that offers spectacular views of the Renaredda, Scoglio Lungo and Acque Dolci beaches. The route offers incredible views of the open sea and, on clear days, even on the coast of Corsica.
The walk leads to Balai beach and its church dedicated to the Holy Turritan Martyrs, and then returns to the city center, where important historical testimonies such as the Roman archaeological area of Turris Libisonis are found.
The route continues through historic buildings and symbolic places such as the Consolata Church, the Palazzo del Marquis and the San Gavino Park, until it reaches the majestic Basilica of San Gavino, one of the most important examples of Romanesque architecture in Sardinia.
Join this incredible journey through time to learn about Sardinia through its history and traditions!
