Perkara yang anda boleh jangka

  • What Makes This Experience Unique
Porto’s first Fado concert in the form of a show takes place inside the city’s only shop that still hand-crafts Portuguese guitars. Here, Porto’s last remaining luthier plays the Portuguese guitar.

    What You’ll Experience
For around an hour, let yourself be swept away by live Fado, performed by local artists in an intimate setting with perfect acoustics. Enjoy the music with a glass of Port wine and explore the exhibition ‘A Journey Through Stringed Instruments’, featuring video explanations on the history of Fado and the Portuguese guitar.

    Why It’s Authentic
Fado has been recognised as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO since 2011. This isn’t a show for tourists: it’s genuine Portuguese culture, in the heart of Porto, just a stone’s throw from the Cathedral. On your way out, you’ll receive an illustrated postcard detailing the history of Fado through videos.

    Book Your Place
Over 20,000 travellers per year experience this moment. The venue is small and places are limited: book in advance to secure your place.
