What you can expect

WHAT MAKES THIS EXPERIENCE UNIQUE
This is no ordinary fado show. It takes place inside the Monastery of São Bento da Vitória, a national monument in Porto, and combines a tour, live fado and two artisanal drinks: Port wine and the rare Singeverga liqueur, made by the Benedictine monks.

WHAT YOU’LL EXPERIENCE
You’ll start with sampling the Singeverga liqueur and a tour of one of Portugal’s most beautiful monasteries. Then, in the sacristy with its unique acoustics, you’ll listen to authentic fado (performed by a fado singer, accompanied by the Portuguese guitar and the fado viola) whilst savouring a glass of Port wine.

GOOD TO KNOW
We welcome you in Portuguese and English. Information leaflets for the tour are available in Portuguese, English, Spanish and French. The entrance is at the rear of the monastery; please arrive about 10 minutes early to start the evening at a leisurely pace.

Seats in the sacristy are limited, to preserve the intimate atmosphere and the acoustics. Book in advance to secure your place.
