What you can expect

Let yourself be guided through the heart of Pordenone, Italian Capital of Culture 2027, for two hours of history, art, and local anecdotes. The tour starts from the Adam and Eve Bridge, where you'll learn about the city's origins and get a charming view of the Noncello River.

You'll stroll through Piazzetta San Marco, the ancient heart of the medieval village, and enter the Duomo di San Marco to admire masterpieces by Giovanni Antonio de' Sacchis (known as Pordenone) and Pilacorte. Continuing along Contrada Maggiore, you'll be surrounded by the frescoes that make the city a true “urbs picta.”

In Piazza della Motta, you'll hear strange tales of witchcraft, while in Piazzetta Pescheria you'll discover Marta Lorenzon's mural and the city's alternative soul, from street art to punk music. The tour wraps up with history and views in Piazzetta Cavour, overlooking Monte Cavallo. If you like, you can end your walk with a stop at a modern pastry shop or with a typical local aperitif (optional, not included).
