What you can expect

Enjoy a unique experience in the heart of the Florentine hills with a guided tour of Poppiano Castle and its medieval tower. The tour kicks off with a visit to the Maturation & Aging Cellar, where you'll uncover the secrets of refining local wines.

Next, head to the Castle Oil Mill to see how extra virgin olive oil is made, including the prestigious Laudemio, a symbol of the area's quality. Climb up to the Vinsantaia della Torre Grande to see the aging barrels of Vinsanto and enjoy a panoramic view of the Florentine hills.

The visit wraps up with a guided tasting of 4 selected wines and 2 extra virgin olive oils, accompanied by “Fettunta” bread, local cold cuts and cheeses, as well as Vinsanto and typical almond Cantuccini. All products are strictly local and prepared by reservation, to offer you an authentic and immersive experience in the taste of Tuscany.
