We'll take you to the churches and places that Pope Leo XIV frequented during his episcopal mission in Chiclayo.
We'll visit the Cathedral of Santa María de Chiclayo, in the main square; the Bishop's Palace; the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Peace; and the Parish of Santa María Magdalena. In Zaña, we will visit the former Convent of San Agustín, the place where Saint Turibius of Mogrovejo was buried, and the Chapel of San Nicolás de Tolentino.
You can make an optional stop at the restaurant “El Trébol,” where the Pope used to eat and which is ideal at sunset for its views of the cathedral and the square.
