Located in Lugar de Baixo, 15 km from Funchal, the Museum is designed to offer you a complete sensory experience of Madeira Banana production.

At the Madeira Banana Museum – BAM, we work side by side with farmers to revitalize, rehabilitate, adapt, modernize and promote research and experimentation on the Madeira Banana. Discover experimental fields, innovative systems for transporting bunches of bananas, and greenhouses equipped with the latest technologies.

At the bar, you'll find a tasting service while enjoying the view of our banana plantations.
