What you can expect

  • Detailed Itinerary
This sightseeing tour will take you to discover the heart of wine and pisco production in Ica. You will begin your trip with a pickup at your hotel in Huacachina or Ica, from where you will set off on an unforgettable experience.

    First Stop: Viñedo de Tacama
With over 400 years of history, the Tacama Vineyard is the oldest in South America. Here, you'll explore the historic hacienda, admire the tower with its panoramic views, and stroll among acres of grapes. During the visit, you will discover how wines and piscos are produced using modern industrial processes. To top off the experience, you'll enjoy a tasting of the wines and piscos made at this iconic place.

    Second Stop: El Catador
The second stop will take you to the traditional El Catador vineyard, famous for its production of pisco. This strong and aromatic distillate is a symbol of Peruvian culture. Here, you'll learn about the artisanal process of making pisco, from fermentation in clay jars (botijas) to the final distillation. You will also have the opportunity to taste their piscos and wines.

    Optional Lunch
During the sightseeing tour, you will have the option to have lunch (not included) at one of the wineries, where you can enjoy typical regional dishes.

Third Stop: Sunset in the desert
The best experience you'll have in Ica: travel through the vast dunes aboard sand buggies, experience surfing on the sand, and take photos of a dreamlike sunset
