Picnic with a handcart - the “little break behind the dike”

Here's how it works:
Choose a date and time and book a handcart for that date.
Lovingly packed and freshly prepared, the “Loving Handcart” is ready for pick-up on the booked date. Then you can walk about 500 m to the dyke with the whole family. The destination can be the Wollersum bathing spot on the Eider or another beautiful place in nature “behind the dyke” with a view of the water.

Pick the nicest spot, spread out the blanket, unpack the handcart and enjoy…

The picnic breakfast is fresh and imaginatively prepared, seasonal and regional.
It includes freshly baked rolls, bread, croissants, jam, honey, various cheeses, a boiled egg, various types of sausage and ham, meat salad, Norwegian smoked salmon and herring, homemade dip, fresh fruit and vegetables as finger food, a pot of “specialty” coffee or tea, a bottle of Prosecco, and a bottle of orange juice.

A “Loving Handcart” is equipped with a picnic blanket, four pillows, plates, coffee mugs, juice and prosecco glasses, cutlery, salt and pepper shakers, napkins, and a thermos flask.
Of course, garbage bags are also included, because:
Nothing's left behind at a picnic behind the dike!

…and we don't use disposable packaging. We only use porcelain dishes, real glasses, polished cutlery, and reusable packaging.

A “Loving Handcart” with picnic breakfast can be booked for 4 people per handcart, but is also possible for larger groups. Then just book several Love Handcarts.

Picnic times are Thursday to Sunday and on all public holidays

Picnic times: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., handcart return by 3:00 p.m.
Book at least 24 hours in advance.
Larger groups and different dates and times are also available on request.
