  • Visit The Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda: The Royal Palace of Cambodia is a complex of buildings that serves as the official royal residence of the King of Cambodia. The Cambodian monarchs have occupied it since it was built in 1866, with a period of absence when the country came into turmoil during and after the reign of the Khmer Rouge. The palace was constructed between 1866 and 1870, after King Norodom relocated the royal capital from Oudong to Phnom Penh. It was built on top of an old citadel called Banteay Keo. It faces approximately east and is situated at the western bank of the cross division of the Tonle Sap River and the Mekong River called Chaktomuk, an allusion to Brahma.

  • Visit National Museum: It is Cambodia's largest museum of cultural history and is the country's leading historical and archaeological museum. Mr. George Groslier (1887–1945), historian, curator, and author, was the motivating force behind much of the revival of interest in traditional Cambodian arts and crafts, and it was he who designed this building that is today ‘traditional Khmer’ architecture. It is perhaps better described as a building enlarged from Cambodian temple prototypes seen on ancient bas-reliefs and reinterpreted through colonial eyes. The foundation stone for the new museum was laid on August 15, 1917. Some two-and-a-half years later, the completed museum was inaugurated on April 13, 1920, in the presence of King Sisowath. The original design of the building was slightly altered in 1924 with extensions that added wings at either end of the eastern facade, which made the building even more imposing.

  • Visit Killing Field: Choeung Ek is the site of a former orchard and mass graves of victims of the Khmer Rouge – killed between (1975 and 1979) 17 Kilometers south of the Phnom Penh city Centre.

  • Lunch break at the local restaurant

+Visit Toul Sleng Genocide Museum: Simply Tuol Sleng is a museum chronicling the Cambodian genocide. Located in Phnom Penh, the site is a former secondary school that was used as Security Prison 21 by the Khmer Rouge regime from 1975 until its fall in 1979.
