In Greek mythology, Side is known as a cult center for Apollo and Artemis. The city’s name is derived from a mythological character named Side. The city is also associated with the tragic story of Phaethon, the son of the god Apollo, who lost control of his father’s sun chariot, bringing disaster to the world.

Manavgat Waterfall is located on the Manavgat River and is one of the region's most important natural beauties. The waterfall forms from the merging of waters from surrounding mountains, creating a stunning landscape due to the flow rate of the water.
