On a Monday night, we take you to the Saúde neighborhood where the Pedra do Sal is located. Along the way, our tour guide tells you the historical trivia about Pedra do Sal, known as “Little Africa”, because of the African enslaved who settled in the district in the 19th century.

You get to see and dance in a “roda de samba” which is a gathering of musicians that play samba music on the street. The roda de samba of Pedra do Sal on Monday night has become a famous local tradition. Our tour guide provides you with a welcome drink, or should we say, a welcome caipirinha, our national drink.

At the end of the night, we take you back to your hotel or you may stay by yourself enjoying the rest of the evening.
