Really fun activity, well organised and great value for money. A must do in Naples. Also watched the pizza class as on the other side of the room and also looked great.

Really lovely experience! It was only the two of us on the pasta course that evening as everyone else had chosen to make pizzas. They took time to show us how to make it and offered to take photos for us as well. The food was really yummy and it’s so nice to know you’ve just made it upstairs! Would recommend- seems child friendly as there were many young children there too!

We ended up having a private class for the pasta making and tiramisu. The class is in the upstairs part of the restauraunt which is decorated with hanging pots and pans and old photos. Our guide was a young italian woman who had a wonderful personality. I am unfortuantely blanking on her name. She provided us with step by step instructions and provided a print out of the two items we made. Once we were done with the instructional part, the kitchen prepared three pasta dishes using the pasta we made. Overall a great experience.

It was amazing but other people in our class didn’t take it seriously… I would recommend a private class so you know your eating quality pasta

The activity started 20 minutes late with no explanation. Tiramisu making was OK. For the pasta, the guide didn’t really guide, which meant some people’s pasta wasn’t made properly (not kneaded enough/rolled out thin enough). Rather than eating what you made, all the pasta was piled up and cooked together, resulting in a plate of hard, inedible pasta. To add insult to injury, we had to wait 45 minutes for the pasta to be cooked. Would give this a miss - we ended up walking out before the tiramisu was served.

We went on an excursion to an Italian restaurant in Naples, where we learned to make pasta in the traditional way. It was amazing, and we were having a really nice time. The lady teaching us was so nice and entertaining and we felt immediately at home. Unfortunately, it was a very hot day in Naples with record high temperatures, and my daughter began showing signs of heat stroke almost immediately after we arrived. The owner Luigi and his staff came over right away and helped my daughter regain consciousness while keeping me calm, giving her first aid and calling paramedics to check her vitals as she slowly but surely recovered. It was one of the scariest moments of my life and Luigi and handled it with grace and charm, eventually making her smile too, once she was okay. I highly recommend this restaurant and any cooking class offered there. Not only were the staff incredible, but the food is extraordinary as well. Thank you to everyone at San Carlos 17, we will be back someday!

Cool experience to do while staying in Naples. We made three different types of pasta and tiramisu from scratch all of which you get to eat in the restaurant at the end along with a complimentary drink and bruschetta. Maybe it was just the day that we went, but the only complaint would be that it wasn’t very well air-conditioned in the room where you make the pasta. Overall, would recommend!
