You will be in control of your creations from start to finish, from the moment you lay eyes on the recipe for the first time to the moment you take your creation out of the oven.
I will be at your side to guide you and to teach you, with full explanations, the techniques you need to guarantee your baking will be a success!

At the end of your experience, we can taste what you have baked and chat about your trip to Paris and I’ll also be happy to give you my culinary advice, recommendations and opinions.

Activity itinerary

Learn how to make the iconic French "Macarons"! In the 16th century, it was the favorite pastry of the famous French Queen Catherine de Medici. Since this day, many pastry chefs had and continue to have fun with this recipe, like Pierre Hermé or Cédric Grolet. Today, you can come and learn how to bake your 2020 version macarons ! During this interactive cooking lesson, you will be hands-on in the kitchen. Equipped with an apron and all the utensils you need, you will learn how to make your own macarons step by step, also picking the flavor of your choice ! We are professional chefs creating French culinary experiences. Our passion comes from our families and our precision from the chefs we have met. We crafted this hands-on, intimate experience for 6 to 8 attendees. Our fully equipped workshop. This building is rich with history as is...the heart of Paris! We are delighted to welcome our guests to our new pastry studio located in the Place des Vosges in the 3rd district. This is a historic location and we are thrilled to be a part of it! The Marais is renowned for its contemporary art galleries, young designers, & typically Parisian atmosphere.

My daughter loves to bake and has tried macarons at home however they never turned out great. We took this class and it was amazing. We each were able to make our own macarons. We were able to pick our color and our filling flavor (one per student). The instructor showed us how to pipe the macaron. After we each made 10 cookies, she then showed us how to make different shaped macarons. We both left the class with 20 macarons each as well as the recipe. The instructed was a little hard to understand due to her French accent but she was very kind and patient! Would 100% recommend this class. If macarons aren't your thing they had other classes as well (croissants, etc). We would definitely take a class at the Baking School again.

This was really fun with kids (macaron making). This culinary school was well run, has lots of options. Our chef was fabulous and spoke great English. I’d definitely return for another class!

This was a wonderful experience for our family. Our sons (7 and 10) really enjoyed the process of baking, and our instructor Leslie made it fun and easy! I would definitely do this class again and recommend for other families looking for something less touristy to do in Paris.

Our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children ages 7-12) absolutely loved the macaron class! It was so fun to choose our flavors, and each of us got to take home about 20 macarons that we made. The instructor was really nice, and we all had a great time.

This class was so much fun. Our instructor Julie was a delight. The space was nice and cool (a great departure from the heat!) and in the end we each had a dozen macarons that were as good as any we’ve ever had from a store. 10/10 would do again!
