What you can expect

  • Join a guided golf cart tour on a private wind farm. Learn about the history of wind turbines and how they work. This tour is educational and fun for the whole family.

Start your tour with a video in the tour center. Then a tour guide will take guests on an electric golf cart around our private wind farm. We take a trip back in time to the present day. Learn about the successes and failures of inventors and engineers at the beginning of the “wind rush” in the 80's to the modern sleek designs we see today.

Hear how the farm was started by a single investor and how it has grown into an energy corridor. Get up close to an operating modern turbine as tall as the Statue of Liberty.

See real working wind turbines over 400 feet tall. Learn about the inner workings of wind turbines and how they contribute to the power grid. From tour novices to engineers, everyone will leave the tour with a better understanding of how this renewable energy is quickly becoming part of our energy solution.

Take a quick selfie at the last stop at the operating GE wind turbine.
