You will be accompanied on this experience by me, a licensed tour leader. We'll meet in the famous Quattro Canti square and, after a brief introduction to Palermo's long and complex history, we'll head to the Ballarò neighborhood, where Antonello will welcome us to his small workshop, where he prepares his delicious arancine, which he sells on the corner of the street during the day (as was once the custom) and which is a landmark for lovers of this recipe of Arab origin, the queen of street food. We will learn all of Antonello's secrets, from how to prepare the rice and how to shell it, to how to stuff and seal the arancine (the most important and delicate step). He will prepare the ragù, but he will share his recipe with us. After preparing them, we'll fry them and eat them together, accompanied by a glass of wine or beer.
