This route along the Arouca Walkways and the 516 Arouca bridge is an interpreted walk, which will allow you to discover various gems and curiosities that only local and knowledgeable guides will be able to see. The Arouca Walkways are a wooden walkway approximately 8.5 km long and were built along the cliffs of the Garganta do Paiva. The suspension bridge is the second longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the world, measuring 516 meters long and suspended by steel cables at a height of 175 meters, it is a Tibetan-style bridge that is located under the beautiful Aguieiras waterfall. These attractions are located within the Arouca Geopark, which is recognized by UNESCO and has been internationally awarded several times.
