Take a leisurely 1.5km walk with an alpaca on a working farm in the countryside. Learn about these serene and quirky animals, and take plenty of photos to remember your experience.

Meet your guide at Udderly Ridiculous Farm Life to get a pre-briefing on safety, harnessing and walking etiquette. Then you are introduced to your beautiful alpaca “partner” for the walk (1 alpaca for every 2 people). Along the way, you can capture photos & videos of the journey through the working farm field, and have an opportunity to be truly in the moment observing their behaviours.

Learn about these serene and quirky animals from your guide. Take plenty of photos with your new friend, hand feed them some treats and learn about their agricultural purpose, how they are raised and bred and what makes them such a unique and beloved animal.

The experience takes 1.5 hours, is suitable for those in moderate physical condition (note the walk is on uneven working farm fields). The walk is not suitable for those who cannot remain calm and those under 14 years of age.

We require 4 people minimum for a walk to go forward due to the herd nature of alpacas. If the minimum is not met, you may be asked to reschedule.

Please wear appropriate clothing for being out in the elements. Wear close toed footwear and no heels.
